Containers Are Used.

    • Properly connect the reefer unit to a 32 amp, 415V power outlet.
    • Before connecting, inspect the cable plug for any signs of dust or water.

  3. Loading:

    • Avoid damaging the baffle kick plate and restricting airflow on the container floor, door end, or return air.

  4. Safety Precautions:

    • Exercise caution when entering or exiting the container, wearing non-slip rubber-soled footwear.
    • DO NOT smoke or use an open flame in the presence of refrigerant.

    • Ensure the reefer is never loaded above the ‘red line guide limit’ inside the container.

  2. Reefer Operation:

    • NEVER run the reefer with the doors open.
    • Always switch off the container before entering.
    • Ensure the doors are securely closed before operating.

  3. Maintenance:

    • Hose down or air clean the reefer unit coils on a monthly basis.
    • Regular maintenance by a qualified technician ensures efficient performance and prevents downtime and costly repairs.

  4. Safety Precautions for Inspection and Repair:

    • Safety is critical when inspecting refrigeration machinery.
    • The refrigerant is under high pressure, and some electrical circuits may have high voltage and moving parts.
    • NEVER open the control box without consulting a licensed electrician or reefer technician.
